Trends Over Time: What Your Personal Patterns Are Trying to Tell You

When you’re in surgical menopause, it can feel like your body has taken on a mind of its own. One day you have energy and clarity, and the next, you’re exhausted or emotionally flooded. The ups and downs can feel random — but what if they’re not?

In science and business, we use data trends to understand what’s working, what’s not, and where to adjust course. You can use the same principle with your own life. Look at your emotional, physical, and energetic “data” over time.

When do you feel most grounded? What triggers your stress or fatigue? Are there repeat patterns — in your relationships, work, or self-talk — that seem to play out again and again?

Those aren’t coincidences. They’re signals.
They’re your life’s way of pointing you toward the next level of awareness.

The goal isn’t to judge yourself for repeating cycles — it’s to observe them with compassion. Patterns only lose their power when we bring them into the light of awareness.

You might begin to notice:

  • The same type of situation that leaves you feeling small or unseen.

  • A certain time of year or season that stirs anxiety or brain fog.

  • Old coping habits that return when you’re under stress.

Each one is a breadcrumb on your healing path.

This week, give yourself the gift of reflection.
Open a journal and write:

  • “Where have I seen this pattern before?”

  • “What might this be trying to teach me?”

  • “What would freedom from this pattern feel like?”

When we start tracking our inner “data” — just as we would a health trend or business metric — we unlock clarity, self-understanding, and peace.

You don’t have to fight your patterns. You can learn from them.
That’s how transformation begins.
